Battle at Kruger

WARNING:

This is an amazing video promoting National Geographic’s new series on Predators VS Prey beginning Sunday evening May 11. This footage may be upsetting to you though there is no “blood and guts” but you may feel for the animal that is being attacked. After you watch the video then read my thoughts.

AFTER VIEWING:

The reason I posted this video is that it provided in my mind a good illustration of some basic principles of the Christian life and church in general.

1. You have an adversary that is ready to attack you without warning or provocation.

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." (1 Peter 5:8, NKJV)

2. The weakest member of the group is usually the one who is most susceptible to attack.

"Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all." (1 Thessalonians 5:14, NKJV)

3. Attacks come from more than one direction and more than one source.

" See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise," (Ephesians 5:15, NKJV)

4. There is strength in numbers; survival is often contingent to ones participation in the community.

"not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:25, NKJV)
