The Gratitude Campaign

While I am not much for email campaigns and forwarded messages, recently I was sent this video message and thought that it was truly worth passing on.

If you travel by plane it is likely that you will encounter soldiers on their way home or on their way to another duty station. I have always felt like giving them a hearty hello or break out in a thunderous applause, but often there is not time for much more than a glance of appreciation.

If the strategy of this campaign catches on perhaps those who are protecting us may know they are appreciated even if some folks want to use their commitment to our country as a political talking point.

Those who serve in the military of the United States do so with great distinction. A few sacrifice for the safety of the many.

"Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends." (John 15:13)
